Our club Gracie Barra Belgrade is founded in Belgrade at the end of 2031.
In the moment of our creation, Jiu-Jitsu was present in Serbia for 13yrs. We felt need to start working with absolutely new approach for that time and that is that Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone and anyone can train Jiu-Jitsu no matter of circumstances of individual.
From the moment when we were working with only one child in class until the moment today when we have over 80 children in our groups. From the moment when we didn’t have any teenager class to until today when we have over 20 competitors that age. From the moment when we had only 10 adults in class to the moment when we have more than 170 in several groups. We made only few steps carefully planed and made huge impact which put us to the biggest club not only in Belgrade but in Serbia!
We won more than 800 medals and lots of trophies until the end of 2021 in all classes both on domestic and International competitions . (Look on list of all medals won)
We have organised 8 Jiu-Jitsu competitions (until the end of 2021), more than one workshops and seminars for kids and women self-defence, promoted sport and our club on numerous manifestations with goal to popularise our sport to wide population of people, organised many humanitarian activities, many Jiu-Jitsu Camps both summer and winter in and outside of Serbia (Greece, Hungary..)
We have organised numerous seminars with guests from Brazil and the rest of the world from which we can point to huge names in our sport such as:
Carlos Lemos Jr., Victor Estima, Andre Campos, Carlos Maia, Vitor Penteado, Salvatore Pace, Max Carvalho, Ze Radiola i mnogi drugi.
We have trained wiht a lot of world known fighter and World Champions as: Marcio Feitosa, Braulio and Victor Estima, Carlos Lemos Jr, Andre Campos, Carlos Maia, Rafaelo Freitas-Barrata, Salvatore Pace, Vitor Penteado, Guillermo Anguita, Andre Nunes, Christian Rodriguez, Charles Negromonte, Ze Radiola, Max Carvalho, AJ Agazarm and others..
In our team, we are obligated to apply for yearly instructors certifications and also First Aid and CPR courses .
We have curriculums that gives our students and coaches opportunity to measure learned and to advance by plan from which they can realise they progress in every moment.
GB team members train with all other GB schools in the world whenever we have this opportunity but also we organise these events in our school and all with a goal to keep our students motivated and active.
Our success is success of our team which we always put in front or ourselves and still all our individuals are reaching their optimum and are satisfied with themselves and their progress in every way of meaning.
Gracie Barra is the biggest world Jiu-Jitsu team with over 900 schools all over the world and we have a huge honour that we were recognized as the team worthy of represent them!
