Ivan Simić

He has been a member of the GB team since 2014. When he joined GB Downers Groove in Chicago, USA.

He was born in Kraljevo in 1977. Graduate student at the higher coaching school in Belgrade. He played professional football until he was 20 years old when he moved to Belgrade for his studies.

After a year of study ing and coaching, he left by exchanging students for America where he continued to pursue coaching as a coach of the younger categories in football and gained a lot of experience in working with the youngest categories.

At the same time, he begins training Valetudo in the "No Hold Barr Fighting Team" with coach Benny Giofrani in Chicago.

With Valetudo he is engaged recreationaly where, in addition to the No Hold Barrs Fighting Team , he trains alongside our celebrated fighter Miodrag Petković 'Pele' until in 2014 he fully devoted himself to BJJ in Gracie Barra Downers Grove with professor-trainer Carlos Lemos Jr..

From 2014-2023 he trained in Chicago and from 2023. After 20 years in the United States, he returns to Serbia where he opens his GB school in Trstenik.

Married and father of three children who all train BJJ.
