GB 1 Basic program

THE FUNDAMENTAL PROGRAM IS REPEATED FROM TIME TO TIME AS YOUR JOURNEY CONTINUES

 

We return to this program from time to time to remind, improve, and continue to perfect ourselves through the basics. The most successful fighters and individuals follow a regular set of routines on the road to discipline and success.

Through the GB1 program, practitioners are introduced to the basic principles and practiced through a process that combines instruction, observation, practice, situational sparring and open sparring.

Thanks to the structure of the program, the results are measurable to trainers and practitioners who see progress that goes beyond strength, flexibility, endurance or self-defense.

Consistent with what they learned in training and learned on the mats, our students experience an improvement in their focus, energy and health.

The GB1 program demonstrates the basic principles and effectiveness of fighting. Its structure contains diversity that is composed so that its core consists of basic and combined moves so that they can be safely learned.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: 

  • GB GI (kimono that is purchased directly from us)
  • GB Rash guard (GB T-shirt worn under the Gi or when practicing NO-GI (without kimonos) that is purchased from us)
  • GB Shorts and Leggings (purchased from us)
  • Mouthguard
  • A bottle of water
  • Slippers - REQUIRED
